Dear Friends,

Would you consider joining me?
This has been a year (for non-education folks, I think in school years) of change and risk and learning and excitement and opportunities and loss and travel and heartache. Amidst it all, I completed level 3 of my ecotherapy training which focused on some really tough topics in the areas of social justice, climate crisis and all the accumulated grief around this. In June, I gathered with my diverse and talented classmates in the Santa Cruz mountains to carry out the immersive application of ecotherapy practices on the land. It was a wonderful experience!
I have training and work experience in gifted education, creative problem solving, mindfulness, creativity, coaching, art, writing and ecotherapy. Over the next few years, it is my intention to begin gradually transitioning into work that educates and supports individuals about ways to use many of these areas of experience as portals to greater self-understanding, environmental advocacy, and personal peace.
In the next several weeks, I’ll be sharing some posts about a grief circle I would like to hold around the autumnal equinox, as this is a season of letting go, shedding, and transformation. If you’re carrying unresolved grief, passing through a current loss, or in need of letting something go that no longer serves you—essentially, if you’re a human who is living—you might benefit from participating in this gentle ritual. I’d be so happy to have your support as I work to define my own approach and style to guidng others with nature connection.
If you are intrigued or would like to participate, send me a message or say so here. I’m open to leading this both online and in person.
Thanks now for reading this and in advance for your potential curiosity!
More to come!
✨Kim
